Osteopathy is a soft, manual, treatment method that brings the body back into balance. It treats not only the musculoskeletal system but also the organs and the craniosacral system. Osteopathy loosens blockades so that your self-regulation, and the self-healing forces of the body, can work again (click on "read more" for more information about how osteopathy works, what happens during a typical treatment session and clinical examples).
Integrative osteopathy uses elements from other healing methods for body, mind and soul as support (e.g. kinesiology, aromatherapy, sound- or colour therapy) so that not only the outer attitude but also the inner attitude can be renewed or corrected.
Where does Osteopathy help?
Osteopathy is helpful for many kinds of pain, for organ dysfunctions, for problems of the musculoskeletal system, for pre-and postnatal problems, for burnout and for many other problems (click on "read more" for a list of more specific indications for adults, children and newborns as well as clinical examples).
Osteopathy does not know any barriers when it comes to age. It is a wonderful way to support, maintain or restore health right from the start, continuing through life and, of course, when we reach a more advanced age. It is especially important for children to provide a good start and a correct base for their further development.
I have been working with the human body for more than thirty years (click on "curriculum vitae" for information about my training and continuing education) and I have chosen a holistic approach (craniosacral osteopathy, integrative osteopathy and other natural techniques) because at any moment it is the person who is at the centre of my attention. I, together with my patient, look for the cause of the disease/dysfunction to get to the root of the problem. I take time to listen and analyse the history of the complaint to create a therapy plan that will encompass all levels of the human being (body, mind and soul). I find it very helpful to be able to choose from different healing methods in order to create an individual treatment plan that is the best choice for this specific person at this point in time.
I don’t know how she does it, but the problem is completely gone
